Are we "organic"?
We are not licensed to call our products "organic". We plan to become licensed. We are family-run and emphasize sustainability. We use environmentally safe pesticides and materials on our farm. We use our own spring & well water to irrigate our crops. We try to remain natural in all our farm processes - we focus on sustainable methods.

What does "grown naturally" mean?

Our products are grown without the use of harmful pesticides and fertilizers. We use OMRI rated pesticides and fertilizers. Our water comes directly from our well and is not treated.

What does "sustainable" mean?

For us, "sustainable" refers to our ongoing effort to grow plants and create products in a way that will minimize off-farm inputs while carefully marshalling our on-farm resources to keep their use renewable. This effort ranges from composting and tillage control to increase soil bacteria to solarization as a means of handling soil disease. We wish to do no harm as we husband nature.
